Vision
Cambodian people will receive the intellectual and economic tools required to attain self-sufficiency. This can only be realised once it is accepted that education must be the key to developing economic self-sufficiency as well as personal well-being and peace for the individual family as well as the whole of Cambodian society.
Mission
BFT is highly committed to providing the opportunity for people, especially children who have been living through hardship and poverty, with effective solutions to improve their lives. This is built upon two principles. First, that “Knowledge is hope”, and second “Peace is freedom”.
Four Main Objectives
- To build human resources with professionalism and ethical qualities by providing multi - technological skills trainings, moral education and adult literacy to the communities. Thus, giving them the opportunity to intellectually apply and achieve a brighter future and peaceful society;
- To provide the orphans with supports to survive their lives and better living conditions
including their recognition and dignity though public school educations, foods, shelters, clothes, health awareness and entertainments;
- To Improve community health through directly and indirectly health promotions at schools, homes and community bases and also support some health activities related to clean water, latrines, fruit tree plantation, home garden activities;
- To reduce people’s violence, unemployment and poverty by providing them with the relevant training on family violence awareness, life skills and micro finance for small business and continued education at the University, employment possibilities and the jobs’ placements.
